SAM Broadcaster Error 10065 — Disconnected

Spacial describes Error 10065 as a disconnected network condition and advises checking the computer's physical/network Internet connection.

What It Means

SAM cannot reach the destination because the required network path is unavailable.

Error: SAM Broadcaster Error 10065

Possible Causes

  • The computer has lost Internet connectivity.
  • A cable/Wi-Fi connection is disconnected.
  • The local network is unavailable.
  • A router or network path is preventing connectivity.

How to Troubleshoot

  1. Verify that the computer is connected to the Internet.
  2. Check Ethernet cables or Wi-Fi.
  3. Open a web browser and confirm normal Internet access.
  4. Restart the local network connection if necessary.
  5. Retry the SAM connection.
  6. If Internet access works but the stream does not, troubleshoot the server address/port separately.
Important:

Change one setting at a time whenever possible. This makes it much easier to determine what corrected the problem.

Additional Notes

Do not immediately change SAM's password or encoder settings if the computer itself has no Internet connection.
